A tunnel used by kidnappers to take away their victims have been uncovered at Obadeyi bus-stop. Passers-by traced the cries of a woman to the tunnel and realised what it was being used for. The two suspects were apprehended by the mob and one of them was set ablaze on the spot. The second suspect ran out through the other end of the hole and was saved from being lynched by the mob when soldiers arrived at the scene.
According to eye witnesses, the woman's cries for help was coming from underneath the bridge and out of curiosity, passers-by decided to check it out and found the men in the hole. The woman is yet to be found and the crowd believes that there are a lot more people trapped underneath the bridge.
