Lady rescues newborn baby from under Lagos Coker bridge

Some people cry night and day for the fruit of the womb and some throw away the blessed gift..... Irony of life.
 A woman known as Juliet Chime rescued a new born baby from underneath the Coker Bridge in Lagos where the mum had dropped her shortly after birth.

Women not to wear headscarves or shoes during the Eyo festival in Lagos State.


Lagos Monarch, Oba Rilwan Akiolu II revealed the Dos and Don'ts of the upcoming Eyo Festival one of which is that women should not wear headscarves or shoes around the masquerades during the festival.

Former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Bayelsa State has been killed in the sitting room of his residence in Yenagoa. The men came armed with guns and knives and forced open the gates of his apartment.

MTN sacks 280 long-serving members of staff in Nigeria.

Telecommunications giant, MTN Nigeria, has hit hard at its workforce, knocking off several long-serving members of staff.South African telecoms firm, MTN, on Friday, sacked 280 of its employees in Nigeria, in a major job cut that affected about 15% of the company’s entire Nigerian workforce.

So, Otedola Florence aka Cuppy tweeted the above in support for her friend, Nigerian-born boxing champ, Anthony Joshua and twitter users insinuated that she has dumped her man, Victor Anichebe and ported to Anthony following the relegation of his club, Sunderland.

Ex Miss Charismatic Nigeria, Miss Yewande Baruwa dies at 22.

This is so sad! The lady in the picture is named Yewande Baruwa. According to friends, Yewande complained of a splitting headache and slumped. Doctors have attributed her death to blood clot that prevented blood from flowing to her brain.
Yewande was 22 and was crowned Miss Charismatic Nigeria 2013. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace, Amen
