The Federal Government of Nigeria is presently considering implementing tax reductions for small, micro and medium enterprises. This is line with plans to stimulate economic growth, encourage business start-up and increase profitability. This recommendation was put forward by the Minister of Finance Mrs. Kemi Adeosun after a 12-member committee reviewed the nations tax policy. The committee also put forward other recommendations geared towards expanding the production capabilities of the nation.
