Fresno police has identified man named Kori Ali Muhammad as the man who shot and killed three persons in downtown, Fresno Carlifornia while shouting Allahu Akbar. he gunman has also been linked to the murder of a Motel 6 security guard.
Muhammad shot randomly, “spraying rounds” at at a downtown crowd while shouting “Allahu Akbar.” Fesno police confirmed that three people were shot and killed in the attack. Fresno opened fire in the parking lot of “Catholic Charities at Divisadero and Fulton in downtown Fresno.” The newspaper reported that the gunman appeared to be randomly targeting people, shooting a man in a front yard, and then another person at a bus stop, and then a man in the Catholic Charities parking lot.
A total of 16 rounds were fired in less than a minute in four different locations, Fresno Muhammad has written anti-government sentiments on social media as well as posts saying that he does not like white people. Fresno police are coordinating with the FBI, but it is unknown if this attack was terrorist-related. Witnesses told media that he paused to reload and was cursing as he shot at people in the parking lot. One of the victims was driven to a nearby police station, but died shortly after.
