Court finally dissolves Emeka Ike's 14 years old marriage.

Lagos Island Customary court has finally granted Emma's request to dissolve her 14-year old marriage to her actor husband.

In July 2015, Emma approached the courts to end her marriage to her hubby on grounds of physical abuse she suffered in the hands of her husband.

“Emeka, who has been begging to be reconciled with his wife, has not made any effort towards the reconciliation. The marriage is hereby dissolved with effect from March 2, in accordance with the Lagos State Customary Court Law, 2011; Order 3 Rule 7 as amended. Any party that is not satisfied with the judgment has the right to appeal to any court of higher jurisdiction within 30 days from today’’.

The court has granted Emeka Ike custody of the four kids. Their mother has also been granted unhindered access to the kids and a refund of the N300 naira dowry paid by Emeka Ike.
