Donald Trump signs revised ban on travellers from six muslim-majority country.

POTUS Donald Trump today signed a revised ban on travellers from six muslim countries. They include Sudan, Iran, Yemen, Libya, Sudan and Libya. Iraqis and permanent US residents have been exempt.
The order, signed this morning places a 120-day freeze on all refugee arrivals  and comes into effect on March 16. The countries affected are based on their screening and information capabilities not meeting the US security requirement. All pre-existing and valid visas from the affected countries will be honoured but new visas will not be issued.
Meanwhile, special adviser to the president on foreign affairs, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has advised Nigerians to delay or cancel any unessential travel to the US for the time being until the new immigration law is clarified
“In the last few weeks, the office has received a few cases of Nigerians with valid multiple-entry US visas being denied entry and sent back to Nigeria,” she said "In such cases reported to the office, such affected persons were sent back immediately on the next available flight and their visas were cancelled.”
Dabiri-Erewa said “no reasons were given for the decision by the US immigration authorities”.
