According to Naij.com, an independent reporter by name Austin Alaba took a trip to Stephanie's Otobo's home town in Sapele and found very shocking information about her which he has put forward for your reading pleasure.
Stephanie became news when she accused a top preacher of having an affair with her and aborting a pregnancy without her consent.

Of course, the story seems true for Miss Stephanie Otobo who shot into limelight claiming that she had an amorous relationship with a celebrated man of God, Apostle Johnson Suleman as well that the later promised her marriage and actually gave out gifts to her parents at an introduction ceremony which location is still a subject of dispute till today. A recent visit to her hamlet in Ekwegu, after Kilometre 2, Amukpe in Sapele, Delta State, which is her cradle as well as reports obtained from Canada reveal that Stephanie as she is called is no stranger to controversies. Indeed, she seems to revel in them. And there are many controversies I gathered that have trailed her chequered life so far. Perhaps, even many more to come. Some of her childhood mates and former neighbors who spoke to me in Sapele disclosed that the girl has what you call "open eye" from an early age. Always very outgoing, she was said to have caused a stir when she started flaunting her affairs with men at the tender age of 15.
Stephanie shocked everyone when she started an affair with one Michael Omuvie, an aspirant for the Delta State House of Assembly in 2001. She was only between 14 and 15 years. Not only did she let everyone know she was in a relationship with the man, she was also like the man's treasurer. So, everyone who wanted money from Mr Omuvie was referred to her collect", revealed one of the sources who pleaded anonymity.
Following the failure of her lover to win the House of Assembly seat, Stephanie reportedly latched on to one Billy Ofesi, a contractor, who allegedly took her to the United States as a student, through a phoney admission syndicate from where she migrated to Canada. First thing she did on arriving in Toronto, according to my sources was to join a church where she quickly worked her way into the choir and established herself as lead one of the characters, when it was time for people to render testimonies. Thereafter, she reportedly married a man popularly known as Mirror to secure her stay as a permanent resident in Canada. It was also learnt that the guy became an ATM machine and paid Stephanie lots of money to the bargain. From Mirror, the dancer started sleeping with another man called OLA who was said to be genuinely in love with her until she messed him up. She allegedly took his money, promised to marry him but dumped him after breaking the relationship. In return, I gathered that the said Mr Ola made a video of Stephanie, including clips of her stealing his money. The video was handed to the pastor of their church during testimony time prompting her to flee and stop attending the church. Before leaving town, she temporarily teamed with another lover and together reportedly engaged in several scams, including Internet fraud. But the burble burst when her partner was caught and jailed for fraud.
Having acquired a negative reputation in Toronto, this reporter was told that Stephanie moved to Vancouver where she topped her game by joining so many dating sites. It was also in that city she became a pole dancer. It was learnt that the pole dancer who claimed she is now into music met a white man in Vancouver and manipulated him to pay for her breast surgery so she could make more money by flaunting them. Sources insist that Stephanie has being involved with so many married men in Toronto and Vancouver and has the habit of blackmailing married men by lying that she's pregnant. But nothing is as controversial as the revelation by family sources that Stephanie is not 23 years old as she claim, and that, that is the age in her documents submitted in Canada. Childhood mates corroborated the discrepancy in the age claim, insisting the she is much older and should be about 33years with one of them disclosing that Stephanie was almost stranded in Nigeria last year while trying to regularise the age in her Nigerian passport with her documents in Canada. Already, there are speculations that Stephanie may not be able to return to Canada as a result of the discrepancies in her claim and on account of being placed under watch by Canadian immigration authorities as well as the INTERPOL. "She can't fly to Canada from Lagos but from Ghana and she has PR not Canadian passport. With that she isn't supposed to stay out of Canada for a number of months. Her fake marriage status as well as copies of her recent blackmail audio/videos files have been reportedly sent to the Canadian immigration and INTERPOL and it's doubtful if she can ever enter Canada again", added our security sources. More bizarre is the tale in Sapele that the ex-dancer is among celebrated l*sbians in the city, engaging in trysts with two,of her friends identified as Jessica and Oritsematosan who interestingly lost their marriages to infidelity and lesbianism.
Oritsematosan a staff of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) was said to have relocated from the Sapele office to Lagos where she's now paired with Stephanie in Lekki after she was caught by her ex husband on their matrimonial bed with another man and paraded on the streets.
*As a Sapele born and bred, the names in this write-up and very familiar and quite popular in Sapele. Wonders shall never end
