Hmmmm...Its only in Naija people come out of jail and hold huge thanksgiving o!!!! Is that his wife Nkoyo Ibori beside him? I'm not seeing well....

Elders of Oghara Community, Delta state organised a thanksgiving ceremony today for the newly released ex-Governor of Delta State, James Onanefe Ibori at the First Baptist Church, Ogharaefe. At the event, Ibori stated that he wasn't guilty of the crimes he was accused of and only pleaded guilty as that was the only way he could escape his enemies' scheme to destroy him.

Ibori said he is exceptionally pained by the sufferings his people have had to go through for the past seven years of his absence. Ibori also stated that he accepted the guilty plea as his life was at stake and the guilty plea was the best option available to him. He said he let Governor Uduaghan, at the time, aware of his intentions to plead guilty as this was his shortest route back to his people.

ROLL CALL OF ATTENDEES
In attendance were prominent personalities and politicians in Delta State amongst which were Ibori's cousin and succesor Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, Ibori's then deputy Governor, Chief Benjamin Elue, Former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Chief Steve Oru, Managing Director of DESOPADEC Chief Williams Makinde, Senator representing Ika north, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, traditional rulers, past and present commissioners,  business men, etc etc
