Seasoned thespian, Hilda Dokubo, has made known how she feels about the recent announcement made by the Rivers state ministry of culture and tourism under the leadership
of it's commissioner Mrs. Tonye Briggs-Onyide.
Mrs Tonye made an announcement recently saying that all organisers of entertainment and hospitality events must approach the ministry, seek and obtain approval before organising any show in the state. This was met with serious backlash from the Coalition of Nigerian Entertainers (CONE). In a press statement, the CONE president stated that a protest will be held by entertainers to demand the removal of Mrs Tonye Briggs as commissioner along with the permanent secretary and Director of the ministry.
Actress Dokubo released a video in support of CONE where she called the ministry stupid and ridiculous. Watch video below
