Train carrying soldiers collides with truck in Kaduna.

Train conveying soldiers from Lagos to Kaduna collided with a trailer at a railway crossing in Kawo, Kaduna at about 3 a.m this morning. The trailer tore into two pieces and no live was lost. The trailer owned by W. A. Group of Companies was said to be full with sugarcane produce.

The accident occurred when the trailer driver ignored the blaring horns of the train and proceeded to cross the rail line. The accident caused a six-hour traffic jam in the area leaving motorist and traveling all stranded at the railway crossing.
