The wedding which was set for Dec 4th was reported to have been postponed by President Buhari due to the uncomfortable media attention that trailed the event. It was also reported that the billionaire groom Ahmed Indimi presented the bride with designer items worth over N47,000,000 to the bride, a move her president father was not okay with.
The new date for the wedding fatiha has been set for Dec 16 after proper consultation and permission of the president. Ahmed is the marketing director of his father's company, Oriental Energy Resources. Ahmed came to limelight when he displayed an account balance of a $100,000,000 some years back.
