The Secretary-general of the United Nations, Banki-Moon has congratulated in incoming president of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo on his victory in the just completed Ghana elections.
Banki-Moon also thanked the outgoing president, John Mahama for preserving peace and diffusing tension during the elections. He pledged UN's continued assistance to Ghana in building a strong and enviable democracy.
