Indian Twins conjoined by their heads set to undergo major surgery.

The government of Orissa India has offered to finance the major surgery need to separate siamese twin boys conjoined at the head. Initial scan shows that each twin has his own brain. Father of the twins, Pushpanjali Kanhar, said the boys were born on March 9, 2015 but the family had no money to fund the separation surgery.

“When they were born, I looked for medical intervention everywhere. Unfortunately, my family couldn’t raise the money needed for the surgery. I lost hope and painfully watched them grow with their heads joined,” he says.
Expert doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences hospital are expected to meet with the family of the kids to make arrangements for the surgery. The twins are reportedly only joined at the skull with separate brains.
