Senator, Osun West, Ademola Adeleke gets Certificate of Return as he fills his Late brother's Position.

INEC National Commissioner, Adedeji Soyebi, today, presented the certificate of return to the winner of the Osun West Senatorial bye-elections, Ademola Adelek, at the INEC headquarters in Abuja.
INEC declared Adeleke of the People's Democratic Party the winner of the elections after he amassed a massive 97,480 votes defeating the APC candidate, Mudashiru Hussein, who gathered 66,116 votes.
Ademola Adeleke picked up the ticket to run for senatorial election after his elder brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke died under questionable circumstances. He was cleared by the APC to run on the platform but a dine minute revolt and re-instatement  of a disqualified candidate, Mudashiru Hussein saw Ademola making a quick turn around.
He dumped the APC and approached the PDP for clearance and was cleared to be the flag-bearer of the party in the senatorial election. Other members of the PDP who expressed interest in the election stepped down making Ademola run unopposed.
In his speech, as he received his certificate of return, Ademola stated that he was meant to run under the APC but he realised they do not practise democracy. He thanked the INEC for transparent elections and the people of Osun State for peaceful voting.
