Policemen were called in after the woman was spotted hanging dangerously from the ledge of the residential building in Liaocheng city. The police spent an hour on the 17th floor trying to persuade her not to jump. She, however paid no heed and chose to take the leap reportedly landing on the air cushion provided by paramedics.
She was quickly rushed to the Liaocheng people's hospital with facial injuries.
