Ushers doles out $1.1m to lover whom he infected with incurable herpes virus

Hot gist hit the internet this morning about popular American singer and dancer, Usher Raymond. According to Radar Online, Usher had a sexual relationship with 38-year old celebrity stylist, Fox Davis who was one of the bridesmaids at his wedding to his first wife, Tameka Raymond. 

Usher had settled his infamous lover with a whooping sum of $1.1m after she sued him for infecting her with herpes virus, a disease he was aware he had. In May 2015, reports hit the net that Usher was 'creeping around' Maya Fox-Davis who happened to be friends with his wife. The story of usher sleeping with one of the bridesmaid at his wedding party was brought up during the lengthy legal battle with his ex-wife.

The eight-time grammy winner had 'rigorous unprotected sex' with his then lover without disclosing his condition to her. The singer was exposed to the virus in 2009 and had a greenish discharge come out of his penis but the doctors labelled him as an asymptomatic carrier. Usher convinced her that his results were negative and they continued having unprotected sex. Miss Fox later went down with a fever of 100degrees, chills, headaches, aches and pains and rushed to the doctor were she was diagnosed of herpes. She also developed blisters and legion in her vagina.

Usher later opened up to her that he had the incurable virus. The lady is reported to have been depressed and emotionally distressed with thoughts that her health and body has been ruined knowing that there is no cure. In Dec 2008, Raymond settled Fox with $1.1m. See full court documents here .
