Fresh case of H7n9 Avian flu reported in China.



A new case of human H7N9 human Avian flu has been detected in Zhuzhou City in Central China.
The patient is a 35-year old man who confirmed that he had been in close contact with poultry birds prior to falling in ill.Two cases of the flu was also reported in Shenzhen City in South China on Friday.

H7N9 virus was first detected in poultry. Human cases  were first detected in China in 2013.  Most of the infections are believed to have resulted from exposure to infected poultry birds or unclean environment. The symptoms include severe respiratory illness, chest discomfort, runny nose and cough with sputum. 
Health organisations worldwide has urged the public to maintain strict personal, food and environmental hygiene both locally an during travel.
