A governor of one of the oil-producing state is presently in hot soup as the sum of ten million dollars which he allegedly stole from federal government bailout funds meant for his state has been vamoosed by his mistress who is currently at large.
The governor, in a bid to avoid the prying eyes of the authorities, kept the stolen funds in the care of his trusted mistress who resides in Texas, USA and instructed her to remit the funds to particular accounts. EFFC and other security operatives have allegedly traced the funds to a USA account. The governor is currently struggling to keep the matter really low so his wife and people of his state do not get a wind of it.
All effort by the Governor to reach the mistress has been futile.
