According to Naij.com, Genevieve Nnaji is currently the richest actress in Nigeria.
She started her successful career at the age of eight when she featured as a child actress in tv soap opera Ripples at the age of eight. Genny came into limelight in 2005 after winning the African Movie Academy Award for best actress.
At 37, Genny is said to be worth about eight million dollars and has starred in over eighty movies. She is said to be among the best paid actresses and also made lots of cash from endorsements. In 2008, she established a fashion line St. Genevieve which she later partnered with Jumia. The brand has been highly embraced by which has so far been highly patronised by African women.
Genny is said to own very expensive houses in Ikoyi and Lekki, Lagos. She once said she was able to afford those houses due to her mouth-watering endorsements form international firms. Genny's contract with etisalat allegedly fetched her a whooping 110 million Naira whilst the one with Range rover summed up to N22 million.
Her Ikoyi home is said to have cost her N225 million. Genny is also known for her penchant for luxurious state-of-the-art cars, her favourites being Mercedes-Benz G-class and Range Rover Evogue.
One thing Genny went into that wasn't very successful was releasing a tract she titled "one logologo line" in 2004. She was greeted with a lot of criticisms bothering on the quality of her music.
