Six Red Cross Workers die in Military Airstrike on IDP Camps in Maiduguri.

A Nigerian air force jet accidentally bombed an Internally Displaced Persons Camp in Kala-balge
area, Maiduguri, Borno State Today. The camp was mistaken for Boko Haram hideout hence the air force launched an attack on the camp. This occurred on the heels of two major suicide attack on the University of Maiduguri about 24 hours before.
Number of casualties have been brought to six red cross members  and 13 wounded IDPs. The air force had been given information about Boko Haram activities in the area which made them launch the erroneous attack.
