Baby born on a flight gets free travel for life.

An unnamed Indian woman in her 20s went into premature labour at 32weeks on Jet Airways flight between Damman in Saudi Arabia and Kochi in Southern Indian State of Kerala on Sunday. The baby boy was born at 35,000 feet with the help of a paramedic on board and airline staff.

The flight, which had on board 162 passengers was diverted to Mumbai where mother and child were quickly transferred to a nearby hospital. Jet airways awarded the new born free travel for life on the airline as the first baby to be born on one of its flights.
