Meet Basori - the 50-year-old man who stopped growing at age 5.

Basori was like every other child in this little Indian Village but at five years of age, he stopped growing in height. Due to poverty and illiteracy, Basori could not have a doctor examine him when he stopped growing but was well-cared for by his family.

In his young years, he got bullied by his peers but with time, he became more of an attraction as people came from far and near to have a glimpse of him. Basori lives with his elder brother and his wife seen carrying him in the picture below.

Basori who is only 29 inches tall works in a factory in his village and has become a local celebrity because of his height. Basori disclosed that he drinks a glass of whiskey every night.

Basori is proud of his height and does not see it as a problem at all. In his words “I work, live and sleep like other people. I also eat like normal people. “Whatever I am is okay. I don’t face any problems because of my height.”
