Justice Dimgba of the Federal High Court, Abuja has granted Jide Omokore permission to travel to the United Kingdom for medical treatment. Jide was arraigned alongside former Petroleum minister, Allison Deziani Madueke for diverting part of the proceeds belonging to the federal government from sales of petroleum products
Others arraigned includes Victor Briggs, Abiye Membere an David Mbanefo on an amended 9-count charge of money diversion. The permission was granted, however, the prosecution urged the court to make the defendant travel within the court's long vacation between July 10 and September 10.
