Legendary and former coach of the Super Eagles team, Kelechi Emeteole, gave up the ghost in India whilst preparing for a major surgery. Kelechi was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2015 and has been battling with life ever since then.
Before his death, Kelechi was experiencing severe breathing difficulties and was in the last stage of medical therapy in preparation for surgery when he died. The sad news was confirmed by his wife, Lolo Emeteole.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
