A man has been confirmed dead and 10 people injured after a man drove a van into a crowd of Muslim worshipers near a mosque in Finsbury Park in North London in the early hours of Monday.
The attack was said to be carried out by the driver of the van who has been reported to be White.
Muslim leaders have linked the incident to a 'rise in islamophobic crime'. According to witnesses, the crowd of Muslim worshippers were attending evening prayers for the holy month of Ramadan when a white van rammed into them.
The mosque where the incident took place was know to be a gathering point for notorious radical islamist. The attacker has been identified as 47 years old Darren Osborne, White, father of four residing in Cardiff. Darren allegedly shouted "I want to kill all muslims" before he was pinned to the ground by onlookers.
