Leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu over the weekend, played host to the President of International Nations Commercial Association in Turkey, Abdulkadir Erkahraman in his hometown Isiama Afara Ukwu, Umuahia.
According to the Biafran leader, the visit was in line with plans to create the Biafran state and patner with Turkey for development of infrastructure, educational improvement and road construction. Kanu stated that the agitation for Biafra had become very loud and can no longer be ignored by the by the international community.
Reacting to the quit notice given to Igbos living in the North by the hausas, Kanu commented ""I said it in August 2009, I told you people they will tell you people to leave the north, now it is happening,"
