Hurricane Matthew hits Haiti and Cuba and heads towards the Bahamas and US





 Said to be one of the most powerful hurricane in years, people of Haiti and Cuba on Tuesday night witnessed the hurricane Matthew, and are now counting their losses. Thousands of people have been displaced in Haiti. The storm made landfall in Cayes , South-west of Haiti. The category 4 storm also made landfall near east Cuban town of Baraoa. Presently, flood waters have reached shoulder heights and so far seven people have been killed by the storm in Haiti and four in Dominican Republic.
In Cuba, the Vice-Minister of the Armed forces, Ramon Esinosa has been out to inspect damaged roads and destroyed properties.
Now Matthew is on its way to Bahamas and the people of Bahamas are getting set to to weather the storm. A state of emergency has been declared in some parts of the US in parts of the US in Matthew's part. Georgia, Florida and South Carolina have issued mandatory evacuations as  thousands in the people have fled the inland of USA on Wednesday.
