Ex-minister of aviation and Director of Media and Publicity on Goodluck Jonathan's campaign committee was arrested by men of EFCC in the federal high court premises in Lagos. Femi was arrested after a court session in which he was standing trial for money laundering.
Femi was standing trial alongside ex-minister for finance Nenadi Usman and Danjuma Yusuf on a 17-count charge of unlawful retention, unlawful use and unlawful payment of money in the tune of about N4.9 billion, a charge brought against them by the anti-graft commission.
The case has been adjourned to November 14 and 15.
