Hadiza Buhari-Bello, daughter of President Buhari has stated that her organisation, Africa Support and Empowerment Initiative (AFRISEI) is in no way infringing on the franchise of the Bring Back Our Girls group headed by former Minister of education, Mrs Oby Ezekwesili.

She explained that contrary to Mrs. Ezekwesili's claims, her organisation need not rely on the BBOG group to be of service to the Chibok girls and therefore had no reason to steal the BBOG name or franchise.

While praising the achievements of the BBOG group, Mrs. buhari-bello stated that AFRISEI comprised of a wider scope of objectives and not just the Chibok girls initiative. She added that the more organisations at hand to assist Chibok and other devastated communities in the Northern part of the country, the better for us all.
