About 154 Nigerians who got stuck in Libya while embarking on the perilous journey to Europe have been deported. Amongst them are 96 women of which nine are pregnant, 58 men , 3 children and 3 others with medical challenges.
They arrived Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos at about 4pm aboard a libyan aircraft, an airbus A330-200 with registration number 5A-LAT. They were received by officials of the Nigerian Immigration Service, National Emergency Management Agency, Police and Air Force.
This is the fourth set of deportees repatriated from libya so far this year.
