Eheneden Erediauwa crowned as 39th Oba of Benin Kingdom


Today, the Crowned Prince of Benin Eheneden Erediauwa has stepped into his father's shoes as the 39th Oba of Benin Kingdom. Having fufilled all traditional rites, the Prince has therefore been crowned in succession of his father Oba Erediauwa Omo n'oba n'Edo Uku Akpolopkolo.
The new Oba who was born on October 20, 1953 had his primary and secondary education in Benin City before proceeding to South Thames Colledge, South-West London for an Advanced Level General Certificate of Education.
He holds a BSc. in Economics from the University of Wales and MSc. in Public Adminstration from Rutger University, New Jersey, USA. Oba Eheneden served as Nigeria's Ambassador to Sweden  and Angola and has an enviable businesss acumen with investments in petroleum, agro-allied and construction. He is married to three wives.

All hail the new king, Oba Eheneden!!!
