75 killed in train derailment in Cameroon

About 600 people were rushed to the hospital following the derailment of an overloaded train in Eseka, Cameroon. So far, rescue workers and medical staff have recovered about 73 bodies from rail tracks. The 30-year-old rail line and train carriage which was meant to seat 600 people was carrying over 1300 people with lots of luggages. The train was filled above it's capacity following landslides and heavy rains that had damaged major roads in between Yaounde and Douala.
President of Cameroun, Paul Biya, through his official facebook page sent his condolences to the families of the dead and urged everyone to partake in the rescue exercise.
