If found guilty, Patience will not go unpunished - EFCC

Speaking to protesters of the Human Rights and Advocacy Center, who marched to the EFCC office in Lagos with a petition against former First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan and the All Progressive Congress Political Party, the EFCC Deputy Director of Operations, Mr, Lliyasu Kwarbai vowed that if found guilty, Madam Patience will not go Scot-free.
The group demanded that Madam Patience be arrested and prosecuted for illegal diversion of funds and APC be probed with respect to source of campaign funds.
The group challenged EFCC for keeping sacred cows and being biased in its anti-corruption crusade. They said that very incriminating evidence has been discovered against the former first lady  and they are very surprised by the fact that she still walks freely.
Mr Kwarbai stated that EFCC was in course of bringing Madam Patience to book and any other government official if found guilty.
