Amidst rumors that pump price will soon be increased, the Group general Manager, Group public affairs division, Garba Deen Muhammad said in Abuja today, that NNPC has no immediate plans to increase the pump price.
This is coming after Mr. Mele Kyari stated at an Oil Trading and Logistics Expo in Lagos had said that the current price was not sustainable. Kyari said NNPC was still subsidizing the product leaving a heavy burden on the corporation.
However, Muhammad said the report was simply not true and was taken out of context.
