The Emir of Kano and past Governor of Central Bank, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has commended the government of Lagos state for how it has managed the economy of the state in spite of the hard times.
He said any country that depends on a mono commodity like Nigeria was bound to crash.
In addition, he said Lagos state has been the best performing state in the country even before it gain ed 'oil status' and therefore should not let the new oil status distract it from the very solid economic template it runs on.
