Travelex, a global foreign exchange dealer, who recently got the approval of CBN to sell dollars, have begun sales to travelling Nigerians at the rate of N356 to a dollar. This welcome development is against the rate of N470 to N472 at which bureaux de change operators sell dollars to travellers. The requirements for the transaction include presentation of a valid international passport, visa to destination, bio-metric verification number card, airline boarding pass and signed copy of transaction. Travelex office is located at inside the Murtala Muhammed International Airport and has so far seen hundreds of travellers troop into the office everyday.
