Ibrahim Abubakar has been announced as winner of the Nigeria Price for Literature sponsored by NLNG carting home the mouth-watering sum of $100,000.
The announcement was made by the chairman of the advisory board, Emeritus Professor Ayo Banjo at a press conference in Lagos.
Among 172 entries that was put in for the competition, Ibrahim's novel 'seasons of crimsons blossoms ' was chosen by the panel of judges as the best after 9 months of deliberation. The panel of judges was led by Prof Dan Izevbaye and other well renowned professors.
